The invitation

We are delighted you’ve all confirmed you will take a chance on Vis!

We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Komiža on September 12th 2026.
You will find everything you need for the weekend on this page, which we will update periodically.
If Komiža looks familiar, it should. The village and its harbour stood in for a Greek island in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, which was filmed there in 2017.
Getting there

Four legs, one island.

Vis is the furthest inhabited island from the Croatian mainland, which is exactly why it is worth the trip. Give yourself a buffer day either side of the ferry.
Fly into Split
The nearest international airport is in Split, Croatia. From Split, you will need to take a ferry to the island of Vis.
Ferry from Split to Vis
Jadrolinija’s website is the best place to check ferry schedules and book tickets in advance. Private boat charters are also available and may be worthwhile for larger groups travelling together.
Cross the island to Komiža
The ferry arrives in the town of Vis. From there it is approximately 20–30 minutes by car to Komiža, where the wedding festivities will take place.
Buses and taxis on the island
If you are not renting a car in Split, buses and taxis are available between Vis and Komiža. Please sign up using the button opposite if you expect to need transportation from the ferry terminal, or if you are staying in Vis and will need a ride to Komiža for the wedding. We will do our best to coordinate rides for everyone who needs one.

Enjoying your time on Vis

Come early. Stay late.

We’ll be on the island from Tuesday, September 8th through Monday, September 14th, along with a good crowd of family and friends. If you can come early, do — the beaches and the local cuisine deserve more than a weekend.
We will communicate about pre-weekend activities via WhatsApp.
We are beyond excited about everything!

Volimo Vas x

Thank you all so much for making the extraordinary effort to attend and celebrate with us. It means everything.
